    Site Security

In October of 2014, a vulnerability codenamed POODLE was identified that impacted the security of websites around the world.  At Republic Bank & Trust Company, we make fraud prevention and the protection of your information a priority.  As such, our site was updated quickly to patch this vulnerability in order to ensure that our clients’ web sessions were secure.  While some other financial institutions or financial management platforms have yet to take this step, we at Republic Bank felt that it was critical to provide a safe online banking environment.

While this means that your web visit at is secure, it may impact your ability to synchronize information from our site to third-party online or mobile financial management, planning, or payment solution if your browser is configured to allow the use of SSL 3.0.  In the short term, you may need to use multiple browsers which utilize different settings if you bank with multiple financial institutions, or you may need to use a different means to import your transactional information to your management and planning solution.

Our Internet Banking Department is happy to assist you with updating your browser settings to allow you to synchronize information from our site to a third party platform.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and assure you that this will only be a temporary issue while other banks and programs update their sites.
