10/14/15 Fraud Alert: Phishing
Republic Bank has been notified that a phishing email has been sent out, utilizing Republic Bank branding. This email did not originate from Republic Bank. If you receive this email or one similar to it, DO NOT click on any of the links in the message (see image below).
Phishing Email Example:
Spoofed Login Page
The email directs users to a site that prompts them to enter their user id and password (see below for a screenshot of the spoofed login page). If you are using Google Chrome you will receive a warning that you are accessing a phishing site, but Internet Explorer and Mozilla browsers have no such measures. The phishing site will attempt to load malware onto your computer.

Precautions to Take if You Clicked on the Phishing Link

Also, we encourage you to run any anti-malware software you have installed on your computer.
