Q How do I access Internet Banking?
A Click on Internet Banking and the Online Banking sign in page will appear. If you are signing up for the first time, you need to click on "First time users, please click here to register" and complete the Internet Banking Registration Form. You will create your own individual password and once your account has been set up for online access you will receive with your log on instructions.

If you are a current Internet banking client, you just enter your User ID (social security number) and password.

Q How frequently is my republicbank.com information updated?
A Transactions are displayed within online banking in real-time, which means that most transactions are reflected immediately on your account. Teller, ATM, and CheckCard point-of-sale transactions are visible on your account as soon as they are received by the bank. Whether you access Online Banking, Account Access Line, or contact us directly, you will have real-time access to your account information.

Q Can I look at all of my transactions at any time?
A Yes, with Internet Banking and Account Access Line, you have access to your account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

Q I've forgotten my password (or I've been locked out of the system), what do I do?
A Please follow the steps below to gain access to Internet Banking.

  1. Contact us at 1-888-782-3333 or by clicking on the Live Assistance button on our home page to have your password reset.
  2. Obtain confirmation that we have reset your password before you proceed to the next step.
  3. All passwords must be between 6 and 14 characters and contain:
    1 (one) number
    1 (one) upper case letter
    1 (one) lower case letter
  4. Complete the Password Reset Form. Once you have filled each field select "submit".
  5. Once we receive the Password Reset Form, we will process it and you will be able to log in within one business day.

Q After I have signed up online for electronic bill payment, how long does it take for me to start electronic bill payment online?
A Once you have completed the sign-up form at the Web site, you will be able to start electronic bill payment in 5 business days.

Q How does bill payment work?
A To help you understand the process, we have provided a diagram.

Q How long does it take to set up a new payee in the bill payment system?
A Once you have entered a new payee into the Electronic Bill Payment System, it takes two business days to set up the payee to receive payments.

Q Even though it takes two business days to set up a new payee, can I still enter a bill payment to the new payee during those two business days?
A Yes. You may enter a payment to your new payee immediately; however, the payment will not actually be made until the payee is set up. Any payments made to the payee before the payee is added to the system will be delayed in reaching the payee by approximately two business days.

Q After I make a bill payment, how long does it take for the money to be debited from my account?
A The money will be debited electronically from your account within 1-3 business days starting on the business day following the payment date. If you make a payment on Monday, you can expect the money to be debited from your account by Wednesday or Thursday of the same week.

Q How long does it take for a payment to reach the payee?
A A payment that generates an ACH payment will credit the payee's account within 1-3 business days; whereas, a paper check will take 3-5 days.

Q How do I actually use the Electronic Bill Payment System?
